Job summary

About The Role

The People Services Team at AO is responsible for administering and coordinating activities for AOers (employees) throughout the employment lifecycle, from onboarding to exit. We are trusted for providing a "right first time" experience, being forward-thinking, and excelling in our field.

You will proactively deliver timely and accurate people administration services across all locations, supporting the wider People teams (L&D, reward & recruitment), AOers, and line managers throughout the AO lifecycle.

Please note this is a 12-month fixed-term contract.

We believe in collaboration; all AOers come into the office Monday to Friday to foster better teamwork, creativity, and support, making us more motivated and effective.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver people administration services proactively across all locations.
  • Be a key contact for people queries, managing the inbox/ticketing system to meet SLAs.
  • Accurately record all employee details, including starters, leavers, and internal moves.
  • Onboard new AOers, being their first point of contact at the start of their journey.

About You

  • Experience in HR/People Services environment working to SLAs.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and key contacts.
  • Proficiency in business software such as Word, Excel, and experience with people systems.
  • Understanding of GDPR provisions relevant to the People Administrator role.
