Job Overview
We have an opportunity for a People Project Consultant to join our team on a 12 month period to drive our people strategy and agenda by coaching and challenging our leaders thinking and ways of working. Working closely with the Strategic People Partners and business stakeholders, you’ll conduct research, collect and analyse data to identify issues, provide advice, and work with the team to develop and implement innovative and pragmatic solutions. You’ll use your experience of organisation design and project management to solve business problems and add commercial value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work alongside Strategic People Partners, the People Transformation team and business stakeholders to scope, design and manage project delivery.
  • Support, design and deliver effective organisation designs that add value to the business, our colleagues and our customers.
  • Responsible for effective project controls and procedures within given initiatives.
  • Develop and sustain collaborative working relationships, produce and deliver presentation packs and business cases for key stakeholders to support projects.
  • Provide regular feedback on progress, milestones and blockers so key stakeholders are fully engaged in outcomes and the progression of projects.
  • Lead project communication efforts, including training managers on change-related messaging.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on organisation design, people policies, processes and procedures relating to project delivery.
  • Analyse and utilise management information data to provide data driven solutions and strategies.

Work Arrangements
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) from December 2026. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events.
This role will require the successful candidate to work a minimum of two times per month from our London office for both team and role based activities'.

Your Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in delivering complex HR change and organisation design transformation projects within fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities, adapting plans swiftly, and maintaining minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Proficiency in Excel and desk research techniques, including interviewing, data analysis, trend identification, and linking insights to strategic priorities.
  • Curious mindset, adept at challenging assumptions and driving innovative solutions. Confident in engaging stakeholders and advocating for the best outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, structured, and impactful messages across emails, teams, presentations, and formal documentation.
  • Skilled stakeholder management, trusted at all organisational levels, with a track record of fostering support for change.
  • Highly organised, pragmatic, and able to remain calm and focused within high-pressure situations.
  • Discreet and emotionally intelligent, with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and professionally.
