Job summary

Downey Osborne is representing a growing international business based in Belfast seeking an experienced People & Payroll Officer. The role combines end-to-end payroll ownership with broader people administration, supporting HR processes, benefits, and learning & development.

You will manage monthly payroll end-to-end, ensure data accuracy, maintain employee records, and handle payroll/people queries in a confidential environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in payroll administration.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Experience supporting HR and employee administration.
• Experience supporting learning and development, including coordinating training and maintaining training records.
• Comfortable working with HR, payroll and/or learning management systems.
• Well organised and able to manage confidential information appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Managing the end-to-end monthly payroll process.
• Ensuring payroll information is accurate, complete and processed on time.
• Maintaining employee records and supporting day-to-day HR administration.
• Handling payroll and people-related queries.
• Maintaining confidentiality across all employee and payroll information.
