Summary

As our People and Culture Advisor, you'll be the driving force behind our efforts to foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging work environment. Your creative energy and people-centric approach will be instrumental in supporting our magic makers throughout their entire employee lifecycle, from the moment they join our KAYALI team to their continued growth within our organization.

Responsibilities:

Employee Experience

  • Work with global People and Culture to develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, well-being, and satisfaction.
  • Monitor employee feedback through surveys, interviews, and pulse checks, using insights to drive improvements.
  • Facilitate onboarding processes to ensure new hires feel welcomed and integrated into the KAYALI culture.
  • Organize team-building activities, recognition programs, and events to promote collaboration and morale.
  • Support recruitment activities to ensure that KAYALI attracts the best in class talent.
  • Act as a point of contact for resolving employee concerns and fostering open communication between management and staff.
  • Maintain BambooHR records, advising on leave and benefits for our magical UK/EU expanding team.

Payroll

  • Oversee payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate payment of salaries, benefits, deductions, and taxes.
  • Maintain compliance with local labor laws and tax regulations.
  • Collaborate with external providers or use payroll software to streamline operations.
  • Manage payroll changes such as new hires, terminations, raises, or promotions.
  • Prepare payroll-related reports for management review.

Office Management

  • Ensure the office environment is organized, functional, and conducive to productivity.
  • Manage office supplies procurement, vendor relationships, and facility maintenance.
  • Coordinate schedules for meetings, events, or external visits.
  • Maintain updated records of company assets and office-related documentation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in generalist HR, preferably with exposure to international company environments
  • Experience managing payroll through external partner
  • Knowledge of UK and French labor laws and specific employment rules acround classification of staff
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with keen attention to detail
  • Experience using BambooHR or similar HRIS
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HRIS systems
  • Fluency in English; French language a plus
