Job summary

Coastland College is seeking a proactive People Partner to advise managers and leaders across both Weymouth and Kingston Maurward campuses. You will shape workforce strategy, drive organisational development and support employee relations with a focus on wellbeing and inclusion.

You will coach managers, analyse workforce data and help deliver the People Strategy and Future Ready 2030. A CIPD Level 5 qualification is preferred or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a People Partner, HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor role.
• Strong employee relations and case management experience.
• Confidently coach, influence and challenge managers.
• Experience supporting organisational change and workforce planning.
• Solutions-focused, strategic in approach with strong stakeholder relationships.
• Ability to use data and workforce insights to support decision-making.
• Passion for developing people and creating positive workplace cultures.
• Holds CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent experience).

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with managers and leaders, acting as a trusted advisor on people matters.
• Support workforce planning, succession planning and organisational development.
• Lead complex employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence management.
• Coach and develop managers to build confidence and capability in people management.
• Support organisational change, restructures and service improvement initiatives.
• Use workforce data to support decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Promote colleague wellbeing, engagement and inclusion.
• Support delivery of the College's People Strategy and Future Ready 2030 ambitions.
