Job summary

Maersk is seeking a People Partner/HR Manager to lead the local people team at our site. You will work in a dynamic environment, coaching site leadership and delivering the People Strategy through HR professionals and specialists.

You will partner with operations and advisory teams, drive the annual HR Cycle, manage performance, compensation, succession and development, and ensure compliance with local employment law while fostering a diverse, inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• Solid experience as an HR manager within a logistics environment.
• Deep understanding of HR fundamentals including recruitment, people performance management, employee engagement, compensation, development, and employee relations.
• Advanced knowledge of local labor law; experience from working in unionized environments would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the HRBPs, site Operations and local Advisory Teams on the implementation of the People Strategy.
• Build strong relationships with leaders and their teams and be their main point of contact on all people matters.
• Drive the local delivery of the annual HR Cycle, including annual performance management, compensation, succession planning and development.
• Resolve employee relations issues, support and advise leaders on HR‑related matters & policies.
• Stay up to date with local employment law landscape to ensure local compliance.
• As Maersk builds its logistics function, we are looking for candidates with experience in a Contract logistics or manufacturing environments.
• Act as talent broker encouraging the transfer of individuals within the organization to obtain developmental experience.
• Draw people insights from real-time reports to identify opportunities for improvement with leaders and local management.
• Deliver trainings and workshops for local leadership teams and various employee populations on HR topics.
• Participate in on-site recruitment and coordinate onboarding, training sessions.
