Maersk is seeking a Local People Partner to deliver high‑quality local people processes and advisory support, ensuring compliance and positive employee experience within our global HR agenda.

You will act as the primary local people advisor for leaders and employees, handling employee relations, performance management, and regulatory matters, while partnering with global HR teams to execute cyclical activities and data integrity in Workday.

Qualifications

• End-to-end HR Generalist capability with exposure to core HR disciplines.
• Hands-on experience managing employee relations cases in complex environments.
• Strong knowledge of local labour laws and compliance.
• Builds relationships and influences outcomes without formal authority.
• Excellent communication across leadership and staff.
• Experience using HR systems such as Workday or similar.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary local people advisor for leaders and employees, providing timely and compliant guidance on people matters.
• Provide expertise on employee relations, including performance management, disciplinary cases, grievances and leave events.
• Partner with global HR teams to deliver cyclical activities like salary reviews, engagement surveys and talent reviews.
• Support leaders in implementing engagement actions and local execution aligned with global priorities.
• Ensure accurate HR data management in Workday, including role changes and organisational data.
• Collaborate on workforce changes, restructures and local initiatives with governance and compliance.
• Contribute to local/regional projects and knowledge sharing within the People Partner community.
• Apply knowledge of local labour laws and regulatory requirements in daily advisory work.
