Job Opportunity: People Partner at Warburtons

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our People Team as a People Partner in the food manufacturing industry. This role involves partnering with business leaders to provide coaching, drive change, develop talent, simplify organizations, and lead people through the delivery of strategic people plans and HR solutions. The People Partner will oversee HR operations, drive initiatives, and collaborate with leadership to support the company's strategic goals.

Your background in retail, manufacturing, distribution, or hospitality will be valuable in navigating the specific demands of the food manufacturing sector. The role involves working closely with site senior leadership, the national People team, People Services, and Centres of Excellence.

As a People Partner, you will be key in managing compliance, workforce planning, talent acquisition, succession planning, engagement, and leadership development, all while promoting high performance and excellence. You will utilize SAP SuccessFactors to leverage data insights, ensuring activities are focused and outcome-driven. Key Responsibilities and Measures
  • Partner with senior management to implement and execute the Lead for Growth strategy and key people processes.
  • Coach leaders to develop talent, simplify organizations, and foster engagement.
  • Develop and execute People Plans aligned with business goals, improving people capability and performance indicators.
  • Provide leadership and guidance on HR matters, bringing insights to foster continuous improvement and better decision-making.
  • Ensure a positive employee experience, aligning with our employer of choice ethos and company values.
  • Enhance employee self-service capabilities and collaborate with People Services, Resourcing, and Advisors for timely support.
  • Represent the voice of the internal customer in collaboration with Centres of Excellence, ensuring central initiatives are effective.
  • Maintain continuous professional development and encourage team growth through knowledge sharing.

Candidate Requirements
  • Proven HR/People business partner experience within FMCG, Retail, Manufacturing, or Distribution sectors.
  • Senior HR/People generalist with leadership and coaching experience.
  • Experience supporting organizational change and working with trade unions or colleague forums.
  • Extensive knowledge across HR disciplines, trusted as a senior advisor.
