Job summary

INSPIRED Pet Nutrition Ltd is seeking a People Partner to lead the HR agenda at our Kinmel, North Wales site on a 12-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. You will partner with site leadership and line managers to develop capability, manage talent and support our strategic priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will guide on policy, compliance and people decisions, while coaching managers to improve performance and engagement across around 100 colleagues.

Qualifications

• CIPD qualified, or equivalent HR experience.
• Experience in an HR leadership role in a manufacturing environment.
• Up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation.
• Proactive and organized, able to meet deadlines and deliver results.
• Attention to detail and turning data into insights and action plans.
• Confident building relationships and influencing across a diverse workforce.
• Comfortable using Word, Excel, PowerPoint and HRIS systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the People agenda on site, covering everyday HR support, compliance and value-adding projects.
• Work with site leadership on development and succession planning.
• Coach line managers to manage performance and drive capability.
• Interpret HR policy and employment legislation and guide managers to apply it consistently.
• Provide timely, practical advice on people issues balancing individuals and business needs.
• Lead recruitment planning for the site with focus on time to fill and turnover.
• Engage with trade unions and colleagues on terms and pay discussions.
• Support the wider HR team to keep colleagues engaged.
