Job summary

NG Bailey in Leeds is seeking an experienced and commercially focused People Partner on a fixed-term contract to April 2027. You will partner with senior leaders to shape people strategies and ensure delivery of high-quality HR solutions.

The role covers employee relations, organisational change, talent development, and workforce planning, with a focus on performance, engagement, and business growth. CIPD Level 7 preferred and strong stakeholder management essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a People Partner, HR Business Partner, or Senior HR Generalist.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience managing complex ER cases and organisational change.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• A data-driven and commercially minded approach.
• CIPD Level 7 or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to deliver strategic people plans.
• Provide expert advice on complex employee relations matters.
• Lead and support organisational change, including restructures, TUPE transfers, and consultations.
• Coach managers to build leadership capability and confidence.
• Support talent, succession, and workforce planning initiatives.

We're looking for an experienced and commercially focused People Partner to join our People Team during an exciting period of transformation.

This is a fantastic opportunity to partner with senior leaders, influence key business decisions, and deliver people solutions that drive performance, engagement, and growth. From complex employee relations and organisational change to talent development and workforce planning, you'll play a pivotal role in helping us build a high-performing, future-ready organisation.

Some of the key deliverables for this role will include:

• Partner with senior leaders to deliver strategic people plans.
• Provide expert advice on complex employee relations matters.
• Lead and support organisational change, including restructures, TUPE transfers, and consultations.
• Coach managers to build leadership capability and confidence.
• Support talent, succession, and workforce planning initiatives.

• Use people data and insights to influence decision-making and improve outcomes.

What we’re looking for:
