Job summary

Vintage Cash Cow is hiring a People Operations Manager (HR) to own the engine room of People, ensuring processes run smoothly, the employee experience is seamless, and ER is fair, compliant, and consistent with UK law.

You will lead on HR operations, policies, and administration, supporting leaders and managers with complex people matters and driving continuous improvement across People processes as the business scales.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an HR Operations, Employee Relations, or similar role.
• Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Confident managing complex and sensitive employee relations cases.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and process improvement mindset.
• Experience with HR systems and managing employee data.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage employee relations cases end-to-end, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence, and performance concerns.
• Provide expert guidance to managers, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant outcomes.
• Lead and continuously improve HR administration processes across the employee lifecycle.
• Maintain and evolve HR policies, ensuring practical, compliant alignment with company values.
• Oversee and optimise People systems and data accuracy.
• Use people data to identify trend insights and actionable recommendations.
• Support audits, reporting, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with People Partners, Talent and L&D to ensure a joined-up experience.
