Job summary

Concurrent is building powerful embedded computing solutions and is seeking a brilliant People Operations Manager to scale our People function. Reporting to the VP People & Comms, you will shape infrastructure, systems and processes that enable our people and business to thrive.

You will own our people systems (HiBob, Culture15), drive data-driven decisions, and lead key annual and cyclical processes such as performance reviews, salary reviews, share awards and benefits.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading People Operations or People Services functions.
• Excellent knowledge of employment law, GDPR and HR compliance.
• Experience managing reward, benefits and annual people cycles.
• Strong employee relations experience.
• A data-driven mindset and strong analytical skills.
• Experience supporting international workforces.
• The ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and strengthen the operational framework that supports our people strategy.
• Lead the ongoing development of our people systems (HiBob, Culture15) and ensure high-quality data for decision-making.
• Oversee annual and cyclical processes: performance and development reviews, salary and bonus reviews, share awards, benefits renewals, BPSS checks.
• Create an engaging, inclusive employee experience and a people-first culture.
• Provide expert guidance on employee relations and governance of HR policies.
• Lead and develop the Talent Partner and oversee Talent Acquisition aligned to business priorities.

The Role

Reporting to the VP People & Comms, you'll play a critical role in creating the infrastructure, systems and processes that enable our people and business to thrive. You'll have the opportunity to build, improve and innovate across every aspect of People Operations, creating a function that is efficient, modern, data-driven and genuinely people-focused.

This is a role for someone who enjoys combining strategic thinking with operational excellence. You'll love improving processes, using data to drive decisions, leveraging automation, and creating scalable solutions that make life easier for our people, managers and leadership teams.

What will I be delivering?

1. Building for scale

• As we continue to grow, you'll develop and strengthen the operational framework that supports our people strategy. You'll bring structure, consistency and simplicity to processes while ensuring we remain agile as the business evolves.

2. Owning our people systems and data

• You'll lead the ongoing development of our people systems, including HiBob and Culture15, ensuring our data is accurate, insightful and supports great decision-making.
• You'll champion data integrity, reporting and process improvements across the employee lifecycle.

3. Leading key people processes You'll oversee the successful delivery of critical annual and cyclical processes across the group including:

• Performance and development reviews
• Salary and bonus review
• Share awards
• Benefit renewal and enhancement activities across the group
• Employee BPSS checks

4. Creating a brilliant employee experience

• You'll be passionate about creating moments that matter, helping to build an employee experience that is engaging, inclusive and reflective of who we are as a business.
• You'll champion a people-first approach, combining data, feedback and insight to help us create an exceptional place to work.

5. Employee relations and policy governance

• You'll provide expert support and guidance on employee relations matters while ensuring our policies, procedures and practices remain compliant, aligned and people-focused.

6. People Team Management

• Lead and develop the Talent Partner, creating a high-performing and collaborative team that operates across the group.
• Provide strategic oversight and guidance on Talent Acquisition, ensuring hiring plans align to business priorities, future capability requirements and workforce plans.
