Job summary

Zendbox is seeking an experienced HR Operations Assistant to support our Human Resources, Operations and Resource Management teams within a fast-paced warehouse environment in Kent. You will drive recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management while ensuring records, contracts and HR documentation are accurate and compliant.

You will also support absence management, workforce planning and payroll tasks, contributing to a collaborative, proactive culture that prioritises wellbeing

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse or fulfilment environment.
• Experience managing absence processes and attendance improvement plans.
• Experience in recruitment, onboarding and performance management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment for warehouse and operational roles.
• End-to-end onboarding and induction processes.
• Maintain employee records, contracts and HR documentation.
• Support training plans, skills development and performance reviews.
• Manage disciplinary, grievance and capability cases.
• Lead absence management and return-to-work meetings.
• Assist with HR reporting and payroll support.
• Monitor labour planning and scheduling requirements.
• Promote a positive workplace culture focused on wellbeing and accountability.
