Job summary

Arriva Group offers a two-year graduate development programme in People. The role combines hands-on exposure to talent, learning and development, employee engagement and organisational development through cross-functional placements.

You will work in a hybrid setup (Sunderland or London) with at least three days in the office and opportunities to pursue a CIPD qualification. A strong emphasis is placed on curiosity, relationship-building and impactful collaboration from day one.

• Degree (2:1 preferred; strong 2:2 considered)
• Right to work in the UK permanently
• Availability to join in September 2027
• Willingness to travel as part of the programme

The Graduate Opportunity

As a People Graduate, you’ll gain exposure to the activities that help attract, develop, engage and support colleagues across Arriva.

Through a variety of experiences and projects, you’ll develop an understanding of how People teams contribute to organisational performance, employee experience and long-term business success.

You’ll work with colleagues across different areas of the People function, gaining exposure to areas such as talent, learning and development, employee engagement, organisational development and people partnering

Location: This role can be based at our Sunderland or London office and operates on a hybrid basis, with a minimum of three days per week in the office.
