Arriva Group is offering a two-year Graduate Programme in Finance, based in Sunderland or London with hybrid work (minimum three days in the office). You will rotate across Tax, Treasury, Accounting & Reporting, and Forecasting & Budgeting, gaining broad exposure to financial performance and strategic decision-making.

We welcome graduates from all degree disciplines who are curious, driven and eager to learn. Availability to start in September 2027 and ability to travel as required are preferred.

The Graduate Opportunity

As a Finance Graduate, you’ll gain broad exposure to the teams and activities that help drive financial performance and support strategic decision‑making across Arriva.

Over the course of the programme, you’ll complete three rotations across a range of finance disciplines, which may include Tax, Treasury, Accounting & Reporting, and Forecasting & Budgeting. Along the way, you’ll develop technical expertise, commercial awareness and a deeper understanding of how finance supports business performance and growth.

You’ll have opportunities to contribute to business projects, collaborate with colleagues across different functions and gain insight into the financial and commercial decisions that help drive our organisation forward.

Location: This role can be based at either our Sunderland or London office and operates on a hybrid basis, with a minimum of three days per week in the office.

The breadth of experience gained throughout the programme will help you explore different career pathways and build a strong foundation for your future career.

There may be opportunities to work towards a professional finance qualification, such as CIMA, helping you develop the technical, commercial and leadership skills needed for a successful career in finance.
