Job summary

ATA Recruitment Ltd in Kirton, Nottinghamshire, seeks a Production Shift Manager to lead a team of around 15 operators. This is a hands-on leadership role, with 4 on, 4 off shifts and a days/nights pattern.

You will drive performance against output, yield and safety KPIs, coach people and foster a culture of accountability and engagement. The role offers a £53,272 salary, up to 8% bonus, 15% pension, share scheme and opportunities for progression within a large manufacturing group.

Responsibilities

• Leading, coaching and developing a team of around 15 operators
• Building strong relationships and creating a positive team culture
• Setting clear expectations around performance, behaviour and safety
• Managing production against output, yield, waste and safety KPIs
• Leading production meetings and shift handovers
• Addressing performance and behavioural issues when required
• Supporting training and development across the team
• Working closely with other departments to resolve issues
• Acting as site lead during nights and weekends
