Job summary

Carbon Clean is seeking a hands-on People Experience Lead to own and continuously improve how our People function operates across the business. You will partner with leaders to deliver an outstanding employee experience from joining to leaving, shaping People Operations as we scale globally.

Based in London with a hybrid model (minimum 3 days in office), you will drive automation, system governance and insightful HR data reporting to support growth, engagement and belonging across regions.

Qualifications

• Proven senior People Operations/People Experience experience in a fast-paced start-up or scale-up.
• Experience with HRIS management and automation (HiBob) and payroll/EOR platforms (Deel).
• Experience with onboarding at scale, including bulk onboarding.
• Exposure to M&A integration.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end employee lifecycle including onboarding, changes, and offboarding across regions.
• Scale and automate People processes; partner with leaders.
• Manage HiBob and Deel data, provide reporting on headcount and engagement.
• Oversee payroll inputs, compensation updates and benefits across regions.
• Lead bi-monthly Town Halls and clear internal comms; promote DEI&B.
