Tropic Skincare is seeking an experienced People & Culture Manager (Maternity Cover) to lead a broad P&C remit from our Croydon HQ. You’ll partner with the Head of P&C and guide managers through complex colleague matters, recruitment, wellbeing and culture initiatives.

This hands-on role requires building trusted relationships, owning ER cases end-to-end, championing employee engagement, and helping shape Tropic’s employer brand across recruitment channels.

Qualifications

• Generalist P&C/HR experience in fast-paced environments.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and ER case management.
• Professional, objective and neutral in sensitive situations.
• Empathetic communicator building trust across all levels.
• Proactive, organized and solutions-focused with prioritisation.
• Sound judgement balancing colleague experience with business needs.
• Confident advising and influencing managers.
• Experience with HR systems and ATS.
• Understanding of employer brand and culture across recruitment.
• Collaborative, shares responsibility and takes ownership.

Responsabilités

• Share ownership of day-to-day P&C operations, delivering a positive colleague experience.
• Provide expert support on ER cases and complex colleague matters.
• Lead recruitment activities and employer brand initiatives across channels.
• Support wellbeing, recognition and engagement initiatives.
• Develop and deliver P&C training for managers and colleagues.
• Maintain policies and handbook updates with external consultants.
