Job summary

Castle Howard Estate Ltd is seeking an exceptional People & Culture Manager to lead its People function across the estate. You will work closely with the leadership team to provide commercially minded, practical HR support and shape the employee experience.

The role covers employee relations, recruitment, learning and development, engagement and HR policies, with a focus on attracting and retaining great people, including seasonal recruitment for a busy visitor attraction.

Qualifications

• Confident HR generalist with employee relations experience.
• Ability to balance employee needs with commercial realities.
• Experience supporting a multi-faceted organisation in a People role.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day People agenda and provide commercially minded HR support.
• Lead employee relations, recruitment, L&D, engagement and HR policies/processes.
• Attract and retain great people, including seasonal recruitment for a busy visitor attraction.
• Identify improvements and help create an environment where people feel supported and able to do their best work.
