Job summary

RSM UK is seeking a People Business Partner to partner with senior leaders, diagnosing workforce challenges and turning priorities into clear plans and measurable outcomes.

You'll work closely with the Head of People for your line of business, bringing together specialist teams to deliver a joined-up service in a business-facing role.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in People Business Partnering or senior People Advisory roles.
• Credibility with senior leaders in a complex, commercially focused organisation.
• Experience across workforce planning, organisational change, talent, and employee relations.
• Ability to analyse workforce data and provide actionable insights to leaders.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with senior leaders and act as their People partner.
• Understand strategy and commercial pressures to give insight and constructive challenge.
• Help turn People Strategy into prioritised, sequenced delivery plans.
• Translate business needs into briefs for People Advisory, Operations and Centres of Expertise, and track progress and risks.
• Use workforce data to spot trends and recommend actions across planning and organisational health.

People Business Partner

Our People team partners with leaders across the business to help them make confident decisions about their people. As a People Business Partner, you'll be the main People contact for your assigned business units. You'll work closely with the Head of People for your Line of Business and bring together specialist teams so leaders get a joined-up service. This is a business-facing role for someone who combines commercial understanding with real people expertise. You'll diagnose workforce challenges, coach and constructively challenge leaders, and turn agreed priorities into clear plans and measurable outcomes.

You’ll make an impact by

• Building trusted relationships with senior leaders and acting as their go-to People partner.
• Understanding their strategy, clients, commercial pressures and workforce capability, then giving insight, advice and constructive challenge.
• Helping the Head of People turn the People Strategy into prioritised, sequenced delivery plans.
• Translating business needs into clear briefs for People Advisory, People Operations and our Centres of Expertise, and tracking progress, risks and outcomes.
• Using workforce data to spot trends and recommend action across workforce planning, organisational change, talent and succession, and organisational health.

• Significant experience in People Business Partnering, senior People Advisory, Organisational Effectiveness, People Change or a similar business-facing HR role.
• Credibility with senior leaders in a complex, commercially focused organisation, and a track record of influencing business and people decisions.
• Practical experience across workforce planning, organisational change, talent, performance and employee relations.
• Confidence using workforce data to diagnose issues, plus the judgement, resilience and professional courage to challenge leaders.
