People Assistant
22.5 hours per week
Based in Morley
In 2025, we will be launching a new central People team that will provide a one-stop advice centre for all our colleagues across the business. This will be the hub of customer service, support, and guidance on HR, Recruitment, and Learning & Development matters.
This means no day will ever be the same!
Your role will be to work in partnership with colleagues, Managers, and the wider People team to provide high-quality, comprehensive support across all aspects of the employee lifecycle. You will participate fully in projects and activities of the People team. One minute you could be calling a candidate to offer them a new job; the next, supporting a manager to run an essential report.
To be considered for the role, we are looking for someone experienced in using all Microsoft packages and able to learn IT systems quickly. This role involves working across a minimum of three online systems, so adaptability and quick learning are essential.

Deliver a consultancy-style People service, ensuring standards and continuous improvement.
Support recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and reference processes.
Coordinate training sessions, manage LMS, and provide L&D advice.
Support processes like leave, DBS, right to work, and salary changes.
Participate in ad-hoc projects and working groups.
Desirable: Experience in People administrative processes or related administrative experience in a large organization.
