clearer.io is seeking a People Advisor to own hiring and People support across the UK, Europe and the US. You’ll be the first point of contact from interview to onboarding, using AI to streamline every step.

Based in Leicester with 3 days in the office, you’ll shape roles with managers, ensure compliant UK employment handling, and support managers across time zones. You’ll report to the Global People Director in a global, fast-growing team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in an HR Advisor or generalist role.
• Experience owning recruitment end to end.
• Working knowledge of UK employment law.
• Proficiency with HR systems and ATS.
• Clear, async written communication.

Job description

We're looking for a People Advisor to own hiring and day-to-day People support across the UK, Europe and the US. You'll be the person our people meet first, from the first interview to the first month, and you'll use tech and AI to make every step simpler.

You'll make the employee journey clear, human and fast for colleagues across EMEA and the Americas. You'll bring great people into the business, help managers make good decisions, and fix what slows us down. The UK is our second-largest location, with 50 colleagues in Leicester, so you'll be close to the heart of the business. based 3 days in the office in Leicester City Centre. You'll report to our Global People Director and work closely with our Talent Acquisition colleague in Vietnam.

what you'll do

• Own hiring end to end across EMEA and the US, from sourcing to offer, so hiring managers get great people, fast
• Shape roles with hiring managers before the search starts: sharp adverts, clear criteria, and interviews that test capability, values and potential
• Give every candidate a clear, responsive, human experience
• Use our ATS, data and AI tools to hire smarter, and report on pipeline, time-to-hire and quality of hire
• Be the first point of contact for People queries across EMEA and the US, and coach managers through everyday employee relations, performance, absence and policy questions
• Apply UK employment law with confidence, keep our HR data accurate, and help us stay compliant across countries
• Own onboarding for new joiners globally, so every first day, week and month is clear and memorable
• Champion tech and AI across People-Spot what slows us down and fix it, with AI and self-serve resources that help colleagues in every time zone get answers without waiting.

what you'll bring

• 3+ years in an HR Advisor or similar generalist role, ideally in tech, SaaS or eCommerce
• Hands-on experience owning recruitment end to end, with a sharp eye for talent
• Working knowledge of UK employment law
• Confidence with HR systems, ATS platforms and AI tools. You look for the smarter way and bring others with you
• Clear, concise writing. In an async team, it's how most work gets done
• Flexibility to work a later schedule to support colleagues and candidates in US time zones

Nice to have:

• CIPD Level 5, or working towards it
• Experience supporting people across several countries, ideally including the US
