Job Description:

Team Penske is seeking a full-time Penske Gallery Host to create memorable guest experiences at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum. The role involves engaging visitors with the exhibits, answering questions, and ensuring the gallery is well-maintained. The host will work closely with staff and volunteers to foster an engaging environment, develop in-depth knowledge of the exhibits, and gather guest feedback to improve the experience.

Responsibilities include:

• Guest Engagement & Interpretation: Interact with visitors, answer questions, and connect conversations with exhibits to enhance understanding and enjoyment.
• Gallery Monitoring: Maintain cleanliness, ensure artifacts are protected, and report issues to the coordinator.
• Necessary Knowledge: Develop expertise in Team Penske history and IMS details.
• Schedule: Full-time, minimum 30 hours/week, including weekends and evenings as needed, with regular attendance required.

Physical Demands:

• Stand, walk, kneel, or sit for extended periods.
• Work on a computer for long durations.
• Lift light to moderate weights (11-35 lbs.).
• Exposure to noise and flashing lights may occur.
