Job summary

Gallagher Benefit Services is seeking a Team Lead - Pensions Systems Analyst to guide a small team of pensions systems analysts in delivering automated, transformative projects for our clients. This fully remote role offers flexibility and international collaboration.

You will apply technical pensions experience across DB/DC schemes, ensure compliance with pensions legislation, and coordinate with the Gallagher Centre of Excellence in Pune.

Qualifications

• Technical pensions experience, including calculations and scheme rules.
• Experience in third-party administration.
• Expert knowledge of pensions legislation, including Government Dashboard and GMPe.
• Proven experience managing a team and delivering projects under deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel).
• Familiarity with SQL, VB or XML is a bonus.

How you'll make an impact

As a Team Lead, you'll manage and motivate a small team of talented pensions systems analysts, ensuring the successful delivery of projects that meet the highest standards. You'll act as a role model, guiding your team to deliver innovative solutions on time and in line with best practices, project assurance criteria, and audit requirements.

• Overseeing and managing requests such as Government Dashboard Automation, GMP equalisation (GMPe), and updates to scheme calculations and documentation.
• Collaborating with colleagues from our Gallagher Centre of Excellence in Pune, India.
• Testing and implementing system and process enhancements.
• Conducting peer reviews to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Staying up to date with pensions legislation and system functionality.

About You

• Technical pensions experience, including calculations and understanding scheme rules (in either DB or DC pensions).
• Working at either Principal or Team Leader level within athird-party administration.
• Expert knowledge of pensions legislation, including Government Dashboard, and Minimum Pension Age changes.
• Prior GMPE (Guaranteed Minimum Pension Equalisation) is a distinct advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven experience managing a team and working on projects under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel) and excellent communication skills.
• Experience with SQL, VB, or XML is a bonus but not essential.
• Eligibility to work in the UK - essential.
