Meraki Talent is recruiting a Pensions Lawyer (Associate, 1–3 PQE) on behalf of a highly regarded, full-service UK law firm. Based in Guildford, Surrey, on a permanent hybrid basis, the role involves advising trustees, employers, and pension scheme providers on advisory, transactional, and regulatory matters.

You will support partners on a broad range of pensions matters, contribute to governance and compliance, and assist with due diligence and transaction documentation in corporate matters,

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor in England & Wales.
• 1–3 years of Post Qualification Experience (PQE) with relevant exposure to Pensions law.
• Strong technical, analytical, research, drafting, and communication skills.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of clients' wider business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Support Partners and senior lawyers on a broad range of pensions and life assurance matters.
• Advise trustee and employer clients on day-to-day pension scheme issues, scheme governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Support the pensions aspects of corporate transactions, including due diligence and drafting transaction documentation.
• Draft and review scheme documentation, member communications, and legal advice notes.

Based in the Guildford, Surrey office on a permanent, hybrid working arrangement, the role involves joining a specialist Pensions team advising trustees, employers, and pension scheme providers on advisory, transactional, and regulatory matters.
