Job summary

Service Care Legal are partnering with a leading UK law firm to appoint a Pensions Associate (1–3 PQE). The role focuses on advising trustees, employers and pension scheme providers across a broad range of pensions matters.

It offers exposure to advisory, regulatory and corporate transactional work within a specialist pensions team, with a strong emphasis on developing expertise in this field. A minimum of 3 days per week in the office is required.

Qualifications

• England & Wales qualified solicitor with 1–3 PQE and pensions experience/exposure.
• Strong technical, drafting and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• A genuine interest in developing a career within pensions law and working within a specialist team.

Responsibilities

• Advise trustees and employers on pensions and life assurance matters, including governance, benefits and compliance.
• Support on corporate transactions, including pensions due diligence and related documentation.
• Draft and review scheme documentation, member communications and legal advice.
• Undertake research and advise on legislative and regulatory developments.
