Job summary

Synchronicity Group is seeking a Senior Associate to join its governance team, focusing on the governance of occupational pension schemes across ongoing, winding up, or PPF assessment scenarios. You will support trustees and managers to ensure effective decision-making and timely project delivery.

The role involves acting as Scheme Secretary when required, preparing agendas, organising meetings, and writing minutes, while coordinating regulatory reporting and governance processes across multiple

Qualifications

• Experience with Defined Benefit and/or Defined Contribution pension schemes.
• Knowledge of pensions governance and regulatory requirements.
• Strong organisation, time management and deadline tracking.

Responsibilities

• Support governance of occupational pension schemes (ongoing, winding up or PPF assessment).
• Act as Scheme Secretary, preparing agendas, organising meetings and minute writing.
• Manage annual regulatory reporting and governance processes.
• Conduct adviser reviews and benchmarking exercises.
• Maintain documentation controls and scheme communications.
• Support projects including wind-ups, regulatory reviews and governance improvements.
