Job description

Pensions Data Services Associate (Actuarial background) (JOB-022025-271343) London, England

Salary: GBP45000 - GBP70000 per annum + bonus + benefits

Oliver James is pleased to be working with a reputable partner-led consultancy seeking a pensions actuarial professional to join their growing Data Services team. The role predominantly supports clients looking to de-risk.

In this position, you will work on various projects, mainly supporting schemes preparing for buy-out/buy-in, GMP data readiness, and the Pensions Dashboard. Additional responsibilities include helping schemes meet regulatory data requirements and supporting internal projects such as new business transitions.

Role requirements:
  • Part-qualified or qualified actuary, or someone who has decided to stop pursuing exams
  • Excellent knowledge of DB pension schemes and a Pensions Actuarial background
  • Ability to develop bulk solutions for complex pension scheme calculations
  • Understanding of data work involved in de-risking schemes

This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated de-risking data team where GMP projects are not the sole focus. The team is still developing, offering potential for rapid organic progression within a partner-led environment.
