Job summary

The Trafalgar House Pensions Calculation Developer role sits at the heart of our pension software team in Greater London, reporting to the Pension Systems Manager. You will develop, configure and maintain the full calculation suite used across the organisation, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Working closely with Calculation Analysts and Systems colleagues, you will analyze data, write secure SQL and code in VB.NET/VBA, and help deliver system upgrades and large-scale configuration

Qualifications

• Strong technical experience in pensions calculations within an administration or systems environment.
• Proven SQL and data analysis skills.
• Experience delivering client implementations or system migrations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure and maintain pensions calculation software.
• Produce, execute and document comprehensive system testing for all calculation changes and releases.
• Analyse, validate and manipulate pensions data using SQL Server.
• Collaborate with Calculation Analysts, Project Teams and Systems colleagues to translate business requirements into robust technical outputs.
• Support release management processes, including acceptance testing, sign off and deployment activities.
• Maintain awareness of ISO2007 and contribute to compliance, resilience and business continuity practices.
