Job summary

East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Pension Support Officer to provide high quality pension administration and customer service. You will support the Pension Manager/Officers, work with the Technology Team on Salary Sacrifice and Employee Self Service, and ensure accurate data entry and timely responses to queries.

You will handle pension data, perform calculations, and maintain records in ESR and POL while complying with NHS policies and legislation.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering excellent customer service in a pensions environment.
• Strong administrative and IT skills with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Ability to handle pension data, queries and process payroll related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure administration of pension data is recorded accurately for each employee by deadlines.
• Provide pension information and calculations, including complex scenarios, using ESR, POL and related systems.
• Assist with local scheme setup and deductions, and maintain pension records.
• Respond to pension queries and provide guidance on scheme rules and changes.
