Job description

Due to growth, my client, a leading occupational pensions consultancy, is currently seeking an experienced pensions professional (defined benefit) to join their national projects team in a team leading capacity. Duties will include:

  1. Leading a team to ensure that pensions projects (data prep, GMP, etc.) are delivered on time and within budget.
  2. Liaising with a range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure project delivery.
  3. Identifying areas for process improvement.
  4. Supporting your team and identifying areas for learning and development.
  5. Conducting regular reviews to manage team performance and address any potential shortfalls.
  6. Identifying opportunities for revenue growth while ensuring efficient use of team time.
  7. Supporting Relationship Managers and GMP teams regarding project queries.

Applicants must possess pensions project or GMP experience and ideally have managed or supervised a team previously. Strong knowledge of 'defined benefit' pensions is essential, and exposure to project work in a pensions environment is highly desirable. This role may suit a current Pension Projects specialist seeking their next challenge.

In return, my client offers a generous remuneration package including bonus, a fantastic working environment with excellent opportunities for career growth, and flexible working arrangements.
