Job description

Due to growth, my client, a leading occupational pensions consultancy, is currently seeking an experienced pensions professional (defined benefit) to join their national projects team in a Team Leading capacity. Duties will include:

  1. Leading a team to ensure that pensions projects (data prep, GMP etc) are delivered on time and within budget.
  2. Liaising with a range of stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure delivery of projects.
  3. Identifying areas for process improvement.
  4. Supporting your team and identifying any areas for learning and development.
  5. Conducting regular reviews to manage team performance and any potential shortfalls.
  6. Identifying opportunities for revenue growth while ensuring team time is used wisely.
  7. Supporting Relationship Managers and GMP teams regarding project queries.

Applicants must possess pensions projects or GMP experience and ideally have managed/supervised a team in the past. Strong knowledge of 'defined benefit' is a must, and exposure to project work in a pensions environment is extremely desirable. The role may suit a current Pension Projects specialist who is looking for their next challenge.

In return, my client offers a generous remuneration package including bonus, a fantastic working environment with excellent opportunities for career growth, and flexible working.
