Job description

Job Title: Pensions Project Team Lead

Due to growth, my client, a leading occupational pensions consultancy, is currently seeking an experienced pensions professional (defined benefit) to join their national projects team in a team leading capacity. Responsibilities include:

  1. Leading a team to ensure pensions projects (data preparation, GMP, etc.) are delivered on time and within budget.
  2. Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project delivery.
  3. Identifying areas for process improvement.
  4. Supporting team members and identifying learning and development opportunities.
  5. Conducting regular performance reviews to manage team performance and address potential shortfalls.
  6. Identifying opportunities for revenue growth while optimizing team time.
  7. Supporting Relationship Managers and GMP teams with project queries.

Applicants should have experience in pensions projects or GMP, with prior team management or supervision preferred. Strong knowledge of 'defined benefit' pensions is essential, and experience in a pensions environment is highly desirable. This role may suit a current Pension Projects specialist seeking their next challenge.
