Job description

Due to growth, my client, a leading occupational pensions consultancy, is currently seeking an experienced pensions professional (defined benefit) to join their national projects team in a Team Leading capacity. Duties will include:

  • Leading a team to ensure that pensions projects (data prep, GMP, etc.) are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Liaising with a range of stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure delivery of projects.
  • Identifying areas for process improvement.
  • Supporting your team and identifying any areas for learning and development.
  • Conducting regular reviews to manage team performance and any potential shortfalls.
  • Identifying opportunities for revenue growth while ensuring team time is used wisely.
  • Supporting Relationship Managers and GMP teams regarding project queries.

Applicants must possess pensions projects or GMP experience and ideally have managed or supervised a team in the past. Strong knowledge of defined benefit is a must, and exposure to project work in a pensions environment is extremely desirable. The role may suit a current Pension Projects specialist who is looking for their next challenge.

In return, my client offers a generous remuneration package including bonus, a fantastic working environment with excellent opportunities for career growth, and flexible working.
