The client:

Our client is seeking an experienced pensions lawyer to join their legal team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in advising our client on de-risking strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting complex transactions within the pensions sector

Key Responsibilities

• Advising clients on all aspects of pensions law with a particular focus on complex de-risking projects from inception to completion.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating associated legal documents. Providing strategic legal advice on regulatory matters.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders, conducting legal research and staying up-to-date with changes in pensions law and regulation.
• Delivering training and presentations to internal teams on any changes in legislation.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with 5+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in pensions law, preferably with a focus on de-risking.
• Strong knowledge of pensions law and regulations, including recent developments and best practice.

*Candidates outside of the stated PQE range with the relevant experience will also be considered for the role.
