Job summary

LCP is seeking a Consultant in our Data Services Team based in London or Edinburgh with hybrid working options. You will handle a diverse range of strategic data projects for DB pensions, advising clients on data risks, data readiness for run-off/buy-out strategies, and complex rectification work.

You will collaborate with actuarial, administration, and risk transfer teams, contribute to project methodologies, and develop new tools and approaches for clients.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years’ experience in the UK pensions actuarial consulting environment.
• Strong UK pensions technical knowledge including valuation and member options calculations.
• Ability to lead a team on significant projects and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on data risks and develop scheme-level data strategies.
• Review data readiness for endgame strategies such as run-off and buy-ins.
• Undertake data rectification projects including GMP equalisation.
• Conduct data cleanse projects for schemes and support member communications.
