Job summary

Citation Cyber is seeking a Security Consultant to join our penetration testing team in a hybrid UK role. You will deliver varied security assessments, identify vulnerabilities and present remediation guidance to clients, while contributing to internal tooling and research.

Ideal candidates have strong reporting skills, experience across infrastructure and web apps, and familiarity with cloud security testing in Azure or AWS, plus a commitment to ongoing technical development.

Qualifications

• Commercial penetration testing experience within a consultancy or equivalent environment.
• Strong technical reporting skills and ability to produce high-quality reports.
• Experience conducting infrastructure and web application penetration tests.
• Good understanding of Windows, Linux and Active Directory environments.
• Familiarity with Azure and/or AWS security testing.
• Experience using industry-standard penetration testing tools and methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A passion for continuous learning and technical development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide range of technical security assessments across client environments.
• Identify vulnerabilities and provide remediation guidance to clients.
• Produce clear, high-quality technical reports and present findings.
• Support vulnerability validation and re-testing activities.
• Contribute to internal tooling, research and knowledge sharing.
