Job Description:

The Industry Assurance team in Cyber Growth runs the Assured Penetration Testing Scheme on behalf of a public sector client, which mandates or strongly recommends such testing across all departments and infrastructure.

The team assesses the methodology and work of all scheme members from application to completion. Support is provided to improve performance, or, in extreme cases, members are removed from the scheme.

We seek a senior penetration tester with experience in quality assuring the output of other penetration testers in operational environments. Experience as an assessor for a penetration testing exam body is also valuable.

Preferably, candidates will have prior experience with the Scheme but should not have current contracts to avoid conflicts of interest.

The candidate should also have experience as a senior member of an adversary simulation team, overseeing and quality assuring team outputs.

The role involves the following tasks:

• Sampling reports during the year to ensure compliance and technical capability.
• Sampling reports from new Team Leaders and providing coaching or remedial support as needed.
• Managing new applications from companies wishing to join the Scheme.

SC Clearance is required for this role.

The role is primarily remote (90%), with occasional meetings in Gloucestershire or London.
