Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a physiotherapist with experience in pelvic health for a 12-month fixed term position at Wexham Park Hospital. The role involves providing high-quality physiotherapy services, including patient assessments and supervision of staff, within a growing team dedicated to pelvic health.
Are you a physiotherapist with an interest or experience in pelvic health?
Have you completed B5 rotations through a range of specialities including MSK?
Are you looking for an opportunity to expand your knowledge and skills within pelvic health?
Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust has been selected, as 1 of only 14 trusts in the country, to work with NHS England & Improvement to set up a new Perinatal Pelvic Health Service. As a result, our Pelvic Health Physiotherapy team is growing and we are looking for a physiotherapist to join our team on a fixed term basis for 12 months. This post will be based at Wexham Park Hospital.
We have a growing team of experienced physiotherapists and assistant practitioners who provide an evidence based service. Advanced Practice Physiotherapists in the team provide expert advice and support. We have a well structured in-service training schedule with Frimley Health colleagues from Wexham Park Hospital. The service is expanding but the caseload will include 1:1 appointments and a range of virtual and in person groups and workshops with patients. There may be opportunities to supervise other staff and take on students.
Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust provides NHS hospital services for around 900,000 people across Berkshire, Hampshire, Surrey and south Buckinghamshire.
As well as delivering excellent general hospital services to local people, we provide specialist heart attack, vascular, stroke, spinal, cystic fibrosis and plastic surgery services across a much wider area.
We have three main hospitals - Frimley Park in Frimley near Camberley, Heatherwood in Ascot and Wexham Park near Slough.
Our three core values, and the behaviours that support them, guide everything we do and set out what we expect of our staff in the way they treat patients, visitors, service users and each other, which are: Committed to Excellence, Working Together, and Facing the Future.
We are also proud to host the Defence Medical Group South East at Frimley Park with military surgical, medical and nursing personnel working alongside the hospital's NHS staff providing care to patients in all specialties.
