Job summary

The Central Lancashire Community Bladder and Bowel Service is seeking a Pelvic Floor Specialist Physiotherapist to join our team in Preston, UK. You will manage a clinical caseload with holistic assessments, develop and evaluate care for bladder, bowel and pelvic floor dysfunction within a multi-disciplinary team, and supervise students where required.

This Band 6 role offers flexible working patterns and the opportunity to contribute to service development across Central Lancashire.

Qualifications

• UK HCPC registration is essential.
• Experience working in an MDT and supervising staff/students.
• Ability to manage a defined caseload with autonomous practice.
• Experience in leading clinical change and service development.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-standard specialist physiotherapy input to the designated team.
• Assess and treat patients autonomously in ward or community settings.
• Perform holistic assessments and develop individualised treatment plans.
• Manage a complex caseload and contribute to service development.
• Supervise and assess physiotherapy students to maintain practice standards.
• Support personal development and contribute to the development of others.
