Job summary

Health Now Complex Care in Grimsby is urgently recruiting Community Care Assistants with PEG experience to support a new community-based care package launching within two weeks. You will provide person-centred care in the home and work with a second carer to ensure safe, consistent support.

Training for PEG and competency assessments are required before duties. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential for this community-based role, with DBS checks and recruitment

Qualifications

• Previous PEG care experience.
• Moving and handling experience and relevant training.
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle in a community-based role.
• A caring, reliable and professional approach.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Commitment to safeguarding and delivering high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Providing person-centred care and support within the service user's home.
• Supporting with PEG-related care in line with the individual's care plan and your assessed competencies.
• Assisting with moving and handling safely, following the care plan and appropriate procedures.
• Supporting the individual with their daily care needs while maintaining dignity, privacy and independence.
• Working collaboratively with a second care assistant to provide safe, consistent support.
• Following all relevant care plans, risk assessments, policies and procedures.
• Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns promptly to the appropriate team.
