Job summary

Health Now Complex Care is urgently recruiting Community Care Assistants with PEG experience to support a new care package in Grimsby, launching soon. You’ll deliver person-centred care in clients’ homes, with support from a second carer to ensure safety and continuity.

Strong moving-and-handling skills, a full UK driving licence, and willingness to undertake PEG training are essential. DBS checks and training will be completed before deployment.

Qualifications

• Previous PEG care experience is essential.
• Moving and handling experience with training.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle for community visits.
• Caring, reliable and professional approach with good communication.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Commitment to safeguarding and high-quality care.
• Willingness to complete PEG training and competency assessments before duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care in the service user’s home.
• Support PEG-related care per care plan and competencies.
• Assist with safe moving and handling per procedures.
• Support daily care needs while maintaining dignity and independence.
• Coordinate with a second care assistant for safe, continuous support.
• Follow care plans, risk assessments, policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and report concerns promptly.
