Everyturn Mental Health is expanding its Woodland House service in Beckenham and seeking a Peer Support Worker who will use lived experience to inspire hope and support residents toward greater independence.
You will provide one-to-one and group support, helping residents develop confidence, access community resources and move along their recovery journey in a safe, therapeutic environment. The role is Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, with enhanced rates for evenings and weekends.
At Everyturn Mental Health, we're proud to be delivering Woodland House, our CQC-registered residential mental health service in Beckenham, developed in partnership with South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. This represents an exciting chapter in Everyturn's journey as we expand our services into London.
Our 12-14 bed, clinically led community rehabilitation service supports people with complex mental health needs in a safe, therapeutic and recovery-focused environment, with 24/7 clinical support.
We're looking for a Peer Support Worker to join our team and use their lived experience of mental health recovery to inspire hope, build confidence and support residents as they move towards greater independence.
Many of the people we support are transitioning from prolonged inpatient admissions and may face challenges around confidence, social inclusion, independence and reconnecting with their communities.
As a Peer Support Worker, you'll provide one-to-one and group support, sharing your lived experience in a safe and purposeful way to help residents see what's possible in their own recovery journey. You'll work alongside people to identify strengths, achieve personal goals, access community opportunities and develop the skills needed for more independent living.
This role is primarily Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, although occasional evening and weekend working will be required. Enhanced rates are paid for eligible evening and weekend work.
