Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust on the Isle of Wight is recruiting a part-time Peer Support Coordinator (30 hours per week). The post relies on lived experience of mental health recovery to inspire hope and practical guidance within the Acute Peer Support Team.
You will line-manage and support peers, coordinate workloads, and work with multidisciplinary teams and external partners to ensure recovery-focused peer support across localities.
We are recruiting for a Peer Support Coordinator to join our team on the Isle of Wight. This is a part time role for 30 hrs per week.
The Peer Support Coordinator will use their own personal experiences of managing mental health and recovery to provide hope, empathy and a different practical perspective through support, dialogue and acting as a role model.
The post holder will provide day-to-day coordination, supervision and support to the Acute Peer Support Team, ensuring consistent, recovery-focused peer support is delivered across all localities.
At present, the Trust is unable to offer Skilled Worker visa sponsorship for this post. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK at the time of application.
