Job summary

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a part-time Band 3 Peer Support Worker for our inpatient team on the Isle of Wight. The role focuses on supporting people on their recovery journey and working within a multidisciplinary team.

You will promote choice, empower service users, and collaborate with clinical staff to ensure timely, compassionate support. Flexible working can be discussed at interview; prior experience with peer support is essential.

Qualifications

• Commitment to work towards formal peer support accredited training.
• Experience expectations include understanding recovery principles and how lived experience supports others.
• Ability to engage with people in crisis with empathy and clear boundaries.
• Willingness to contribute to service development and collaborative multiagency work.

Responsibilities
