Wiley in the United Kingdom is seeking an Assistant Peer Review Performance Manager to drive day-to-day peer review performance across a segment of the Research Publishing journal portfolio. You will optimise processes to ensure adherence to best practices and promote a positive author experience at all points in the peer review lifecycle.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent or relevant industry experience.
• Data literate, able to quickly adapt to new systems and platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills - need clear and authoritative communication to direct/influence colleagues in other roles.

Responsabilités

• Oversee manuscript peer review process from submission to final editorial decision for a portfolio of journals within Research Publishing.
• Support editors and editorial offices across journals in remit.
• Maintain documentation of peer review management processes.
• Identify and raise integrity concerns and act on outcomes of investigations.
• Adopt new services/tools when offered or enhanced workflows are rolled out.
• Execute and align journals toward continuous improvement, workflow optimization, and adoption of best practices.
• Focus on speed to decision, quality of author experience, and integrity of manuscript workflows.
