Job description

The purpose of this position is to help adults and adolescents that are diagnosed with Schizophrenia and related disorders to achieve and maintain recovery in the Navigate Program at Highlands Community Services (HCS).

Position Specifics:
Location: Abingdon, VA
Status: Full-time, Non-exempt, Monday-Friday
Compensation: $15 - Commensurate with education/experience
Education: High School Diploma/GED; Peer Recovery Specialist Certification required but can be completed after hire.
Experience: One (1) year of recovery from mental health challenges or at least one (1) year as a family member supporting a loved one with mental health challenges. To be considered, you must provide an explanation of how your lived experience qualifies you for this role.
