The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust is seeking a Band 3 Speech and Language Therapy Support Practitioner (Children) for full-time or part-time, permanent employment. You will work 1:1 with children and young people under the supervision of Speech and Language Therapists and coordinate appointments with families, schools and settings.

You will record progress in clinical records, support families to continue therapy at home, and be part of a large, integrated children’s SLT service within an NHS

Mansioni

• Work 1:1 with children and young people under supervision of Speech and Language Therapists.
• Liaise with families, schools and settings to organise appointments.
• Record client progress and update clinical records and information systems.
• Develop knowledge of communication and swallowing disorders and SLT provisions.
• Assist the SLT team in delivering intervention programmes for CYP with communication and/or eating/drinking difficulties.
