Job summary

The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust is seeking a Speech and Language Therapy Support Practitioner (Children) to work with children and young people. You will deliver 1:1 sessions and carry out activities under the direction of Speech and Language Therapists.

You will liaise with families, schools and settings, record intervention progress in clinical records, and help families apply strategies at home and in school.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and young people.
• Ability to deliver programmes developed by SLTs.
• Experience liaising with families and schools.

Responsibilities

• Deliver SLT-devised programmes 1:1 with CYP.
• Record progress and update clinical records.
• Liaise with families, schools and settings.
• Work under supervision of SLTs.
• Support wider children's service activities.
