Job summary

NHS Ayrshire and Arran invites applications for an enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist to join the Children and Young People’s SLT team in North Ayrshire. You will deliver universal, targeted and individualised support to children, families and communities.

You will manage a small caseload, work closely with education, health visiting, social care and third sector colleagues, and contribute to professional development and service improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech and Language Therapy and HCPC registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide universal, targeted and individualised SLT support to children and families.
• Work with education, health visiting, social care and third sector colleagues to identify needs early.
• Manage a small and varied caseload and maintain appropriate records.
• Support and supervise HCSWs and students; participate in professional development.
• Engage in improvement projects and share best practices with peers.
